根據媒體最新民調，呂秀蓮在台北市長選情得到5%綠營支持度。記者一發問，呂秀蓮便回答，「那 (我)應該最後一名」，她表示，自己已經退休那麼久，不公平，有的人已經跑到快終點了，有的人連起跑都沒有起跑，數字參考就好。

今天是民進黨8年執政研討會第三場次，同時也有外界傳言，呂秀蓮今天將宣布參選台北市長。被媒體進一步追問，呂秀蓮說「我都沒有說要選啊，就一成而已、思考一成」，但又進一步說明，有些人已經跑得「每天都在上報了」，這樣討論沒有意義。
