【孫英哲／彰化報導】員林是米苔目之鄉，員林鎮公所今天下午在公所廣場舉辦「員林商圈．千人夏宴」米苔目美食暨農特產推廣活動，推出一系列超值的銅板美食，現場並展示「大碗公米苔目冰」作為活動噱頭，更準備一千份的米苔目冰供民眾免費享用。

員林鎮長張錦昆表示，這次的活動除了主角米苔目外，現場更有超過三十攤超級經典在地員林美食，其中包括九重粿、肉粽、鱟殼麵、油蔥蛋餅等傳統美食小吃，民眾只要用五十元購買美食券，就能享用這些小吃，相當物超所值！
