高雄義大世界今（31）日舉辦「紫耀義大跨年晚會」，邀請姐姐謝金燕、天后蕭亞軒等歌手勁歌熱舞，並施放長達520秒的璀璨煙火，一同跨越2013、迎向2014年，高雄市長陳菊也到場與民眾同歡，她感謝義大在高投資，並祝大家新年美夢成真。重要的倒數時分，全場最大亮點煙火秀，主打2014年「愛你一世我愛你」，3D立體特效煙火呈現出千手觀音，總計施放全長520秒、超過2萬發的煙花，火樹銀花劃破黑夜、點亮天空，燦爛絢麗、繽紛奪目，令全場驚呼連連，為2013年劃下完美句點。
