【動新聞】鳴笛至死　殉職台鐵司機獲平反

【胡治言／綜合報導】台鐵機車長蔡崇輝前年1月駕駛太魯閣號撞砂石車致死，卻未獲「冒險犯難」最高撫卹，經遺孀2年來爭取，昨終於沉冤得雪。

今日出刊的《蘋果》報導，銓敘部前天依台鐵所提新事證，重開專家會議審查，昨提報考試院會翻案，認定蔡沒逃跑，案發前僅10秒反應，蔡完成煞車等標準作業後，仍持續鳴笛示警月台旅客，堅守崗位正面被撞擊致死，遺族將可獲1千2百萬元撫卹與慰問金。

台鐵工會發起今上午10時全台火車同步鳴笛5秒，預估將有逾50列火車在路線上鳴笛。台鐵工會理事長謝勝明說：「蔡崇輝5秒鐘的堅持救了全車乘客，是司機員最英勇的表現。」
