【短片】8旬男　遭火車撞死

【李光濱／花蓮報導】台鐵303車次由新左營開往花蓮的自強號列車，今天下午1時許行經南華火車站時，司機員發現前方200公尺鐵軌上坐了1名男子，不斷鳴笛警示，但男子走避不急遭火車輾過當場死亡；該起火車事故造成誤點超過半小時。

警方調查，死者楊萬江（88歲）是吉安鄉南華村人，因妻子在鐵軌旁一塊菜園耕作，楊才穿越鐵軌要去找老婆。當地村長說，楊持拐杖走路行動不便，可能是走累了坐下來休息，加上重聽沒聽到鳴笛聲，來不急逃才被撞死。

鄰居陳女說，「阿伯（楊男）曾經救了她姪女的命」，聽到噩耗「很心酸！」多年前弟妹喝醉，帶著5歲的姪女穿越鐵軌，當時一列火車剛好經過，姪女還罵母親「走路像烏龜！」當時楊萬江見狀趕緊拉著姪女逃離逃軌，弟妹則是及時彈開，2人都未受傷。當時家人還拿紅包給楊表達感謝，但楊並未收下紅包。
