寒流今晚橫掃全美 恐阻美東明通勤交通

新一波寒流可能在周日稍晚侵襲美國東岸，影響從華盛頓到紐約州等地，周一通勤族的鐵路與陸上交通恐遭阻斷，航空交通也可能停擺。

美國氣象局（NWS）預測，紐約市積雪可能高達7英吋（18 公分），費城將達6至10英吋，巴爾的摩與華盛頓可能達5英吋，周一早晨通勤將更加困難。

Accweather資深氣象學家艾力克森說：「寒流料將橫掃全國，但襲擊亞特蘭大時不會影響東北部，波士頓與新英格蘭州大部分地區將免於強烈暴風雪侵擾。」

他說，這波寒流並非典型冬季暴風，威力也不算強大。不過，氣象局警告說奧克拉荷馬州、阿肯色州與肯塔基州可能發生電力中斷。
