台中市晚間下起一陣大雨，路面視線不佳，消防局晚上10時5分據報有數位民眾騎機車或徒步經過大里區大峰、仁化路口時，不慎掉落路邊施工的下水道坑洞。

消防人員趕往時，已有一名騎機車的朝陽科技大學學生自行爬起，另一名在附近查看積水的市民掉落後被救起，但因有市民指稱還有一名騎機車市民也掉落，消防人員不敢大意，仍持續搜救中。
