再早一點，陳偉殷3局上出現暴投，捕手Stevie Clevenger沒擋住，掉了一分。教頭Showalter賽後說，這是捕逸。「陳偉殷的變化球越來越銳利了，但那一記捕逸害了他，」Showalter說，「陳偉殷投得真的夠好，該贏的。我們拿了7分，有機會贏球，但就是抓不到關鍵出局數。」

這場比賽印地安人又打到13局才贏球，上次他們連兩場都加班到至少第13局才獲勝，是1935年4月的事。
