法網／約克維奇直落三 強勢晉4強

世界第2的男網好手約克維奇成功在法網踏上男單4強，他在8強戰以7：5、7：6（7：5）、6：4擊敗加拿大發球「巨砲」洛尼奇，連續4年都至少打到準決賽。

洛尼奇靠發球為武器，首盤小約吃盡苦頭，但在關鍵12局破發成功，也是整盤唯1一次破發，讓他先下一城。

第2盤洛尼奇更是猛力加速，全場他發出20「愛司」，不過逼進搶7後，洛尼奇的對抽功力仍不敵小約，輸掉兩盤後，第3盤洛尼奇氣勢盡失，快速地以0：4落後。

約克維奇以5：2發球時，意外的全場首次被洛尼奇破發，不過小約最後仍以3盤獲勝，4強將對上拉脫維亞的高比斯。

高比斯16強擊敗費德勒後信心大增，他8強戰以6：3、6：2、6：4擊敗第6種子柏帝奇、站上準決賽。
