台中市施姓富商18日從美返國後被自家司機謝源信夥同3共犯擄走，並勒索3千萬元後撕票。謝姓司機犯案前以他表哥的身分申請護照，並冒領出境，顯示歹徒為預謀犯案。

警方追查發現，謝姓司機在前往銀行取款失敗後，於18日晚間6時許，持冒名護照由桃園國際機場出境，經追查已由泰國入境。

入出國及移民署國境事務大隊25日表示，謝姓男子犯案前，以他表哥身分，並且附上謝嫌本人的照片，向外交部申請護照，稱為「冒領護照」。

由於整本護照經核發後，屬於正式護照，謝嫌在出境時，經過紫外光燈等二代系統各式檢驗時，均為正式護照，沒有偽造或變造，移民官因而放行。

除了謝嫌已潛逃泰國外，這起綁票案另有2至3人同夥在逃。警方上午公布2名涉有重嫌的男子畫面，盼他們主動到案說明，並呼籲民眾協尋。
