行政院前院長郝柏村上午出席「抗戰勝利紀念研討會」時說，台灣的前途是中華民國的前途，中華民國的前途由全體中國人來決定。對此，行政院前院長謝長廷批評，郝柏村當過行政院長，還領退休金，「這樣講完全違背台灣優先的立場」。

行政院前院長游錫堃說，郝伯村選擇站在台灣人民的對立面，核心價值沒有民主二字，有的只是民族主義，「若不喜歡可以不要住在台灣」。
