英國低薪族　達520萬人

英國智庫Resolution Foundation指出，英國去年低薪人數達520萬，佔總人口22％，較前年增加25萬人。低薪定義為時薪低於7.69英鎊（約376元台幣），這是全英勞工時薪中位數的三分之二。

英國政府近日將最低時薪調高為6.5英鎊（約318元台幣），但專家指出，在倫敦時薪至少要8.8英鎊（約430元台幣），其他地區為7.65英鎊（約374元台幣），才能維持基本生活水準。（國際中心／綜合報導）
