喀麥隆陸軍22日表示，他們在該國西北部瓦解伊斯蘭組織「博科聖地」的一個訓練營，擊斃數十名好戰分子，並逮捕在那裡受訓的年齡8到15歲的84名兒童，以及45名訓練者。

軍方是在當地民眾向軍方舉報吉維迪格有一訓練營後，前往清剿。

這是喀麥隆首次瓦解「博科聖地」訓練營，也代表軍方另一次勝利，17日時軍方才擊斃116名好戰分子。
