馬祖家扶中心將成立全國家扶到齊

家扶基金會僅馬祖未成立家扶中心，今年確定成立。家扶基金會有感於馬祖地區弱勢兒童需求及長期缺乏穩定的社會福利服務，先計畫與馬祖介壽國中、小學進行助學合作計畫，預計提供200人次以上的服務。

馬祖介壽國中小幼稚園部主任楊明珠，是家扶中心扶助長大的自立青年，因成長歷程辛苦，讓她更努力向上。她嫁到馬祖後，進入介壽國中小工作擔任幼稚園主任，對馬祖幼兒需求頗了解。

家扶基金會在民國53年曾設立馬祖家扶中心，民國66年因兩岸情勢緊繃，政府鼓勵居民搬到台灣，加上美國撤出對台灣的貧困援助，被迫關閉馬祖家扶中心。
