考取電腦資訊證照不再是年青人的專利，年屆60而耳順的黄鶴鳴連續挑戰電腦資訊考照，均獲通過，打破中老年人學習電腦不易的迷思，黄鶴鳴從未參加過電腦班，一直是憑個人興趣看書自學，去年首次參加屏東大學所辦理的基礎軟體應用學士學分班後，報名參加勞動力發展署之丙級電腦軟體應用考試，一次通過，連一般大學生都不太敢參加的中華民國電腦技能基金會TQC+考試，照樣一次順利通通。

國立屏東大學校長古源光希望以黄鶴鳴好學上進的例子做為磚來引玉，鼓勵更多民眾加入電腦資訊的學習，黄鶴鳴表示，今年已報名該校三月初開班的Photoshop影像設計實務學士學分班，要再三考取電腦資訊證照，豐富個人能力也增添生活意義。
