人臉辨識系統助精障女回家

嘉義市警局二分局長竹派出所，警員執行巡邏勤務巡至大雅路，見一名女子坐臥在馬路邊神情怪異，警方見車流輛大，於是將她帶到路旁安全處，並詢問該女子資料，但她卻答非所問，要送她去醫院也不肯，警方和她聊天取得信任，拿出「警用M-POLICE」電腦，利用「人臉辨識系統」查出女子是水上鄉人。

警方調查，呂女（46歲，患有輕度精神障礙），日前飯後趁家人沒注意離家出走，由於遲遲未歸，家人深怕其發生意外，除了報警外，動員全家人四處尋找以致數日未眠；今獲嘉義市警方通知，終於鬆口氣。由於呂女情緒忽好忽壞，警方將她送到醫院，並通知其家人前往醫院照顧。（徐彩媚／嘉義報導）
