有關 wifi router 的問題

這問題很困難,建議精通IT的人幫忙.

背景:
我是個中二學生, 想在家上網(用手機), 但媽媽不給, 於事這悄悄買了TP-LINK 的TL-MR3020wifi router, 看它細小, 但發現家裏沒有乙太網路接口, 只在客廳有一個已接電腦的....

問題:
1). my wifi router報廢了嗎? (是的你幫不到我了/否請繼續幫忙)
2). 可在電腦的乙太網路接口開分支嗎?(前題是我不可觸到客廳的乙太網路接口, 家人會check的) (是的你幫不到我了/否請繼續幫忙)
3).要購買集線器OR交換器OR其他? (THANKS!!!!!)
