自強號列車，嘉義民雄晚上撞死人

【徐彩媚／嘉義報導】台鐵自強號146次列車，今晚由高雄往基隆方向行駛，途經嘉義縣民雄鄉，距民雄火車站約600多公尺，協志工商後面，約晚上7點5分，一名中年男子突然闖入鐵軌，當場被撞死。警方表示，由於死者身上沒帶證件，身份還需進一步調查。

台鐵表示，案發後由522次莒光號接駁車上，約500名旅客繼續北上。全案於7時46分蒐證完成，19時46分恢復列車行駛，實際耽擱自強號列車在現場停留39分鐘後，即排除障礙。
