南非警政署花費兩年時間，對全南非十五萬七千五百名警察進行調查後，廿八日日公布調查結果，表示約有1500名警察有犯罪紀錄。警政署將進一步調查這些犯罪紀錄內容。在野黨要求開革這些警察，且立即生效。南非的安全部隊以貪汙和殘暴聞名。（法新社）
