大陸媒體報導指出富士康等企業污染太湖流域部分河流，鴻海集團副總裁盧松青親自對外說明，他強調，從2005年起陸續投入4500萬元人民幣（約2.25億元）設置環保防污設備，且每月都投入相當多的環保操作費用，鴻海一向以最高標準處理排放問題，對廢水排放有信心，絕對沒有違規，可接受任何檢查與考驗。
大陸媒體報導指出，公眾環境研究中心等環保組織最新發布太湖流域汙染調查報告，指稱富士康集團等企業，將污染排放到太湖流域部分河流，因此造成污染情況。
鴻海除了發出4點聲明澄清，同時由集團副總裁盧松青親自對外說明，他指出，在昆山高科技園的排污都依當地政府環保法令要求辦理，所排放的工業用水，全天24小時都由當地政府進行環保監控，且每4個小時分別在6個定點取樣進行檢測。
盧松青指出，第三方檢測單位的取樣無法更改，檢測報告結果完全合法；他說，「內河」段除了是屬於防澇用途之外，富士康不是唯一的排放者，還有其他企業也有排放；但盧松青強調，富士康廠區排入內河的廢水，絕對符合法令規定的排污標準
鴻海的聲明則指出，「本公司在昆山高科技園生產製造過程的排污悉依政府有關環保法令的要求辦理」；報導中所謂富士康「內河」，經查證該河實屬防澇用途外，富士康並非唯一排放使用者，富士康廠區所排入內河的工業廢水符合有關法令的排污標準。
鴻海表示，公司致力於防治污染，持續減廢，提供符合環保產品，節約能源，保護地球，務實經營綠色企業，並與國家環保部南京環境科學研究所並已共同規劃，實施太湖流域電鍍企業環保整治方案。
鴻海強調，太湖流域面積廣大，籲請太湖流域各相關企業，配合政府有關法令，致力綠色環境的保護，建立綠色供應鏈，為綠色未來共同努力。
