漁船雇保全 南方澳漁民多持正面看法

立法院今天三讀通過漁業法第39條之1、第64條之2修正草案，今後在受海盜威脅或非法武力高風險海域作業的遠洋漁船，將可依法僱用私人武裝保全人員，保護自身生命財產安全。

遠洋漁船可僱武裝保全的消息傳回宜蘭南方澳，漁民多持正面看法，蘇澳區漁會總幹事林月英指出，日前南方澳漁民發生遠洋漁船遭到印尼漁工海上喋血案件，因此武裝保全不只保護漁船免受海盜侵襲，同時也是保護台籍幹部在海上的人身安全。

不過，林月英也建議，「讓船長出海也能合法持有槍械自衛」，因為武裝保全若在海上出現謀反之心，更容易出意外，盼政府也能朝遠洋船長出海合法持槍的方式，研擬配套措施。
