英國《每日郵報》8月4日報導，英國一名五個月大的男嬰魯本·帕克斯頓(Reuben Paxton )先天器官移位，心臟穿孔，最後竟以男性陽痿藥物——威而剛(Viagra)奪回了生命。

據人民網報導，魯本出生在英國格拉斯哥當地的醫院裡，出生時他的胃、腸和肝臟都長到了胸部的位置，這使他的肺部無空間發展。出生4天後，小魯本接受了長達7個小時的器官位置糾正手術，戴了三個星期的呼吸機，終於在12周後獲准回家。小魯本的生存之戰的勝利得益於西地那非，俗稱陽痿藥物──威而剛。他的母親解釋道：『魯本有肺動脈高壓，該藥物有助於擴大血管，使進入肺部的血液可以更好地流動。』

小魯本的母親說：『我從來沒有想過放棄他，我一定要把他帶回家。』如今小魯本每天食用威而剛藥片四次，兩片防止血液倒流的藥片，以及一包鐵補充劑來幫助運輸體內的氧氣，並定期在醫院檢查身體狀況。
