【綜合報導】即將衝著台灣而來的潭美颱風(Trami)，接連兩天替菲律賓北部地區帶來豪雨，死亡人數已經到達7人，首都馬尼拉超過一半的面積都積水、交通癱瘓，逾萬居民被疏散到各個臨時庇護中心暫時躲避，菲律賓多班國內航班取消，國際航班也多遭到延誤，證券交易所、政府機關與學校連續兩天都暫停營運，全國因風災帶來的經濟損失難以估計。
