福建省國土資源廳傳出好消息，福建省地勘部門在德化縣境內最新發現一處大型金礦床，測算金礦石量近千萬噸，金金屬量超過25噸。為此，省領導專門做出批示對福建省金礦勘探的重大突破表示祝賀。

根據中新網報導，據了解，歷時十載不懈勘查，福建省地勘局所屬地勘隊伍在福建省德化縣東洋礦區南礦段新發現這處大型金礦床，經勘探礦體長達百公尺以上，平均厚度在3公尺以上，最厚處達數十公尺，測算金礦石量近千萬噸，金金屬量超過25噸。

目前，礦區北礦段繼續在開展相關勘查工作。專家認為，通過進一步勘查，該礦床有望成為一個超大型金礦床。這是省地勘局實施找礦突破戰略行動以來，繼發現馬坑鐵礦、建甌白鎢礦、泰寧長興金礦等一批大中型金屬礦床後所取得的最新成果。

相關負責人介紹說，該金礦床成因初步確定為火山－次火山熱液(斑岩)金礦床。該類型金礦床在福建省重要成礦遠景區尤溪－德化－永泰金礦成礦遠景區，乃至福建東部中生代火岩區的新發現，對區域上實現尋找中生代火山岩型金礦的突破具有重要指導意義。

此次福建省地勘部門在德化縣東洋礦區如願抱回一個大金娃，為此，省委、省政府領導在省地勘局呈報的報告上做出批示：『祝賀福建省地礦局金礦勘探的重大突破，感謝地勘系統同志的不懈努力。』
