菸害防制聯盟：菸捐應漲20元　菸稅漲5元

【蔡明樺／台北報導】吸菸有害健康，世界衛生組織提出「菸害終極目標」願景，希望各國將吸菸率降到5％以下，台灣醫界菸害防制聯盟今指，台灣菸價太便宜，以紐西蘭為例，後年菸價將調漲至每包新台幣480元，紐國也訂出2025年要達到世衛目標，聯盟呼籲立法院應儘速通過菸捐漲20元、菸稅漲5元的版本，保障國民健康。衛福部國民健康署回應，調漲菸價阻力不小，目前國人的吸菸率約18.7％，目標2020年能降至10％。

國健署健康教育及菸害防治組長馮宗蟻指，行政院調漲菸捐、菸稅25元版本，目前立院只完成1讀，若能順利拍板，國人吸菸率估從18.7％降至15％，提高菸價仍是全球公認最有效的菸害防制策略。
