【林奐成／綜合外電報導】澳洲新南威爾斯州近日爆發野火，當地時間周五首度有人因災喪生，63歲民眾林德納（Walter Lindner）在抵抗野火入侵住處時，突然心臟病發，送醫後不治。
 
據美國有線電視新聞網（CNN）報導，新南威爾斯州目前仍有超過20處野火持續延燒，難以控制。當局表示，藍山地區有數百房屋燒毀，空中可見陣陣濃煙。消防員仍在全州努力撲滅野火。
