學者孫璐西：棉渣餅未必能再製為棉籽油

【邱俊吉／台北報導】針對有醫師在臉書質疑棉籽油的安全性，並指去年進口棉籽油渣餅就逾5千噸，台灣大學食品科學研究所榮譽教授孫璐西表示，她不知醫師的理論依據何在？她也想問這些醫師，從何處得到棉籽油有害人體的確切訊息。

萬芳醫院精神科醫師潘建志在部落格發文指出，台灣近2年進口棉籽油數量暴增，光去年便進口高超過5千噸的「棉籽油渣餅」，棉籽油渣餅也可製成棉籽油，政府卻都不查。

孫璐西則表示，棉籽油渣餅有可能是進口作為動物飼料，是否會進入人吃的食品，衛福部確實應該去查，不過棉籽油渣餅未必能再製為棉籽油，因為棉籽油渣就是棉籽油壓榨後所剩下來的渣，若棉籽油當初是以溶劑萃取，則油渣已經剩不了多少油脂，很難再製成油。

衛福部則表示，將從海關追查棉籽油渣餅流向，以了解其是否進入人類食品。
