Taiwanese/Taiwan XX industry?

Taiwan medical industry = the medical industry in Taiwan
Taiwan's medical industry = the medical industry of Taiwan

以上兩者都正確, 意思也一樣;
惟由於在複合名詞中, 位置在前的Taiwan具有形容詞性質, 老外習慣從簡而省略所有格「's」, 也就偏愛前者寫法了.

至於Taiwanese, 具有從裡到外完全屬於台灣的意涵, 從原料、器材、設備, 到醫護人員、用藥等都全部出自台灣, 才適合用Taiwanese medical industry.

如果一家外商大藥廠到台灣設廠, 當然也包含在Taiwan/Taiwan's medical
industry之內, 卻不屬於Taiwanese medical industry, 因為是外商而非台灣籍.

Taiwanese food就沒有這個問題, 食材、烹調、廚師都是本土, 用Taiwanese恰如其分.
在台灣賣義大利麵是Italian food, 賣日本料理是Japanese cuisine, 墨西哥美食
是Mexican food,....等, 雖在台灣經營, 卻不會與Taiwanese food混淆.
