印度火星探測器　擬於今日入軌

據《印度時報》23日報導，印度太空研究組織(ISRO)22日啟動火星軌道探測器(MOM)的主發動機，為24日進行的24分鐘的探測器推進器點火做準備。印度曼加里安號(Mangalyaan)火星探測器預定於24日進入火星軌道。 　　

隨著火星軌道探測器(MOM)完成地面指揮中心所發出的命令，已被閒置300多天的液體遠距發動機 (LAM)被點燃。如果一切順利，曼加里安號探測器將於24日進入火星軌道，當天由探測器上攝影機還會拍攝並傳回首張火星影像。 　　

印度此次的火星探測任務若如期成功完成，印度將成為全世界繼美國、俄羅斯和歐洲後，第四個成功完成火星探測的國家或組織。同時在迅速發展的亞洲太空競賽中，印度將領先中國、日本等亞洲大國。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
