進入10月以後，秋意越來越濃，這時是禾本科植物展現風采的季節，包含常見於河床礫地、花穗純白的甜根子草，與生長於山坡荒地、花穗分支如掃把的芒草，都為秋季先後帶來美麗景象。而台灣賞芒花的景點眾多，像北台灣的基隆山、金瓜石、陽明山區、平溪五分山、東北角的草嶺古道等，都是秋日出外踏青的好去處。(吳孟芳／台北報導)
