伊波拉防疫設備不足美護士罷工抗議

世衛組織公布最新數字，感染伊波拉的死亡人數已經破五千人，總共5,160人死亡。而美國防疫部門官員12日則要求國會通過62億美元的預算，來遏止西非疫情擴散。但醫護人員仍覺得防疫設備不足，發動罷工示威。

美國全國護士工會發動為期兩天的罷工，抗議各地醫院仍然普遍缺乏隔離衣等防疫用設備。約1萬8千名護士響應，部分還於12日聚集在華府外示威，希望喚起當局關注。

聯邦疾管署則回應，當局已經花了270萬美元採購防疫裝備，提供給各地醫院。
