關於屏東立委補選，民進黨昨晚進行民調，決定徵召人選。據了解，台北市前市議員莊瑞雄擊敗屏東縣府顧問黃昭展，將披綠袍上陣參選，選對會周三將把結果送交中執會通過。

民進黨發言人黃帝穎表示，選對會已與兩個參選人協調，不公布民調數據，也不事先宣布人選，最後結果將待中執會通過後正式對外公布。

雖然民進黨中央黨部與當事人都保持低調，但一早就傳出消息，由莊瑞雄出線。對此，莊瑞雄受訪時說，確實接到中央黨部通知，他會先沈澱一兩天，未來好好經營打拚，努力爭取勝選。
