在稍早再次傳出消息中，Sony可能將針對行動通訊部門進行約1000人的裁員計畫，預期影響部分歐洲與中國地區職務，同時此次裁員動作預計將在今年10月前完成。

根據日經新聞引述消息來源表示，由於營收結果等因素影響，預期將針對歐洲與中國地區職務進行調整，其中多達1000名員工將面臨裁撤，同時預計最快在今年10月前完成。

相關傳聞進一步表示，Sony Mobile未來重新調整後將大幅縮減30%，預計將縮編至約5000名員工規模。不過，Sony方面暫時並未對此傳聞回應，但預計將在2月4日公布新一波財報結果時，可能會有更具體說明。
