英國一對網戀情侶交往3周後，男方坦承自己性向，欲變性成為女人。不過，2人並未因這重大決定分手，反還認為雙方感情更為穩固。

據英國《鏡報》（The Mirror）報導，英國大曼徹斯特現年26歲的女子漢娜（Hannah William）於2010年透過交友網站認識30歲的丹尼（Danny Bradbury），2人迅速墜入愛河，漢娜說「我著迷於他的修長身型、棕色短髮，我知道他就是那個對的人」。

2人交往3周後，丹尼投下震撼彈。某日丹尼向漢娜表示有話要說，漢娜猜想是否是提分手，殊不知對方竟說覺得「自己內心是個女人」。漢娜雖感震驚，但並不因此放棄對丹尼的愛，「不管是什麼性別，我愛他，這是我唯一知道的事」。

現在丹尼已改成女性名字萊克絲（Lexy Bradbury），萊克絲在外穿男裝，但在家中便會穿上女裝，而漢娜不僅接受這些轉變，還鼓勵「她」留長頭髮、化妝。2013年萊克絲注射女性荷爾蒙，預計明年接受變性、隆乳手術。

漢娜坦言這將改變一切，尤其是性生活方面，「但我們會想辦法讓對方開心，我很榮幸能夠見證萊克絲發現自己」。
