2014年底在我國之外籍人士有80.1萬人

內政部統計指出，2014年底在我國外籍人士（不含大陸人士）共計80.1萬人，82%來自東南亞國家。持居留簽證者計66萬人，持停留及其他簽證者14.1萬人。與2013年底相較，在我國外籍人士增加7.6萬人，其中以持居留簽證者增加6.8萬人最多，主要為外籍勞工之增加。

內政部表示，同期在我國外籍人士，以外籍勞工55.2萬人，占68.9%最多（主要分布在桃園市、新北市及台中市），尚未歸化取得國籍的外籍配偶4,3萬人，占5.3%次之（主要分布在新北市、桃園市及台北市），二者合占在我國外籍人士的七成四。
