王建民2009年500萬美元是旅美球員最高薪，陳偉殷今年薪水已是非常接近的475萬美元，殷仔想要超越建仔就看今年！

2006年、2007年連續繳出19勝佳績，當時的王建民透過薪資仲裁薪餉翻倍跳，2008年縱使受傷，2009年還是獲得500萬美元年薪，目前仍為旅美球員的最高紀錄。

從日本職棒轉戰大聯盟，陳偉殷2012年初以3年1139萬美元合約加盟金鶯，包含2015年475萬美元的球隊選擇權。

陳偉殷過去3個球季，總共拿下35勝24敗自責分率3.86，用穩定表現贏得教練團及隊友信賴，球團也當然地執行選擇權續約。

距離旅美球員最高薪只差25萬美元，陳偉殷今年若能夠維持水準，季末成為自由球員的他，勢必能超越建仔所創下的紀錄。
