經濟合作暨發展組織（OECD）主辦的國際學生能力評量計畫（PISA），將各國和各區域15歲學生的閱讀及數學能力測驗結果作比較，台灣在數學和閱讀分別排名第4和第8。

最新結果顯示，表現最好的是亞洲各國學生；英國毫無進步，上海學生在閱讀和數學兩個領域都包辦第1。測試在2012年進行，2013年公布。

這份排名顯示，全球教育版圖正在改變。
