火山爆發前　會先發出「尖叫聲」

【綜合報導】火山爆發前，其實會先發出猶如開水燒開的聲響，美國華盛頓大學分析阿拉斯加瑞道特火山(Redoubt Volcano)的爆發過程，發現爆發前會先有小型地震，接著出現聲響，地震頻率和幅度也越來越大，聲響從人耳聽不到的低頻逐漸變高頻，在火山爆發前聲音就突然停止。
 
因此研究人員認為透過監測火山周遭的地震，將可預測火山爆發，不過研究人員還無法判定是什麼造成地震和聲響。
