國際貨幣基金組織日前在一份報告中說，日本孤注一擲以重振其經濟的大膽舉動若失敗，就會成為世界經濟最大的風險之一。

根據廣州日報報導，IMF在其年度全球風險評估中發現，可能對全球經濟復甦造成威脅的其他因素包括大陸經濟增長放緩快於預期以及美聯儲不合時宜地終止大規模購買債券計劃。

IMF總體上支援日本的努力，即所謂『安倍經濟學』，並認為如果得到完全實施將會發揮作用。但IMF預測，一旦政府在該計劃的政治上最令人擔憂的部分沒能貫徹到底，將產生重大風險。這種情況一旦發生，日本經濟增長也許會陷入低迷，投資者可能對政府繼續支付其巨額債務利息的能力失去信心。

IMF在其報告中設想了一種情境：投資者一旦要求日本國債多支付兩個百分點的利息以補償更大的風險，就將迫使政府大幅削減支出，大幅提高稅收，讓日本經濟陷入衰退的深淵。IMF預測，如果這種情況在日本發生，將讓全球增長速度降低兩個百分點。
