是3A投手比較強、還是曼尼Manny Ramirez真的老了？這位41歲的選手，被遊騎兵隊3A釋出，理由是「揮棒速度慢了」。

「基於我們的評估，隊上沒位置給曼尼，所以我們釋出他，這樣他能到別的地方找機會。」遊騎兵隊總經理Jon Daniels說。

曼尼在3A出賽30場，打擊率0.259、打點13分，雖然前8戰就擊出3發紅不讓，但接下來就沒再開轟。對比曼尼在義大犀牛隊出賽49場，打擊率0.352、擊出8發紅不讓，也許可以看出中職和3A的差距。

這次曼尼挑戰大聯盟失敗，下一步動向令台灣球迷相當關心。Manny在大聯盟打滾19季，打擊率0.312、全壘打555支排第14、打點1831分排第18。
