中山大學海科院後方海域　一學生戲水失蹤

【楊適吾／高雄報導】受熱帶低氣壓影響，台灣附近海域出現長浪，不過仍有民眾冒險到海邊戲水。中山大學海科院後方海邊，中午12時30分左右就發生溺水意外！

一名18歲莊姓高中生，與另名網路認識的捷克籍高師大交換學生相約到海邊戲水，不料一個大浪打來，莊姓男學生被捲走，外籍大學生見狀立即下海欲救人，不過因為浪大救人不成，只好自己掙扎游上岸。此時救難人員獲報趕抵，見大學生哭喊：「拜託，趕快下去救他！」但下海已不見莊姓男學生蹤影，目前仍在搜救當中。
