避免高山症釀憾事　立委促高山山屋設加壓艙

【黃揚明／台北報導】民進黨立委田秋堇今與前年在白姑大山罹難的大學生張博崴雙親、國際揹工保護組織主席James Duff舉行記者會。田秋堇指出，台灣高山多，登山客容易高山發生高山症，立法院上月已通過提案建議政府在高山山屋設置緩解高山症症狀的加壓艙，一有狀況時就能救人一命。

發明輕便可攜式加壓艙（PAC）的James Duff說，若登山時發生高山症，唯一的方式就是馬上下山，但如果患者身體狀況不好或氣候限制時，就可以使用加壓艙讓患者症狀舒緩，加壓艙內能讓海拔3千公尺處的氣壓降至1600公尺高的狀況。James Duff今也將加壓艙贈送給台灣外展教育發展基金會。

台灣外展教育發展基金會執行長廖炳煌說，台灣3000公尺以上高山有258座，每年該基金會都帶領新加坡學生在台灣登山，加壓艙重量僅7公斤，登山時若能攜帶加壓艙上山，對登山隊發生狀況時自救幫助非常大。
