美國加利福尼亞州56歲的男教師加里頌斯(Gary Sonce)，在春季假期過後竟然搖身一變成為柔情女子，囧呆學生和家長。

光明網據美國新聞網站『yourjewishnews.com』報導，據悉，這名『漢子突變妹子』的理科教師已有24年教齡，一直以男人形象出現在人前，可誰知這個性別並不讓他滿意。他曾對妻兒抱怨說，自己就像一個女人的靈魂被困在了男人的身體里。於是他果斷決定變性，芳名也改為卡倫阿迪爾(Karen Adell Scot)。因為老公突然變成了女人，他的妻子也不得不與他離婚。

對於頌斯突然的變性，學生家長們反應不一。學校主管詹姆斯稱，任何人都不應因其性別、性別認定、性別表現和性取向而遭到區別對待。他還補充說，若有學生對此感到不舒服，學校教員及管理人員都可提供協助。
