中信兄弟打擊發揮了，全場敲出13支安打，包括「恰恰」彭政閔的全壘打（本季第3轟），但17日雙重賽第1戰還是5比6輸給Lamigo桃猿，4連敗，林泓育4局上轟出本季個人第7支全壘打，與統一獅鄧志偉並列第一。

桃猿先發投手銳此戰投的不算好，投7局被擊出11支安打失4分，總教練洪一中表示「銳前5局就被打出11支安打，但考慮到今天是雙重賽，明天還有一場比賽，而且他除了第1局失3分，後面就穩下來了，所以讓他繼續投」，銳拿到這場比賽的勝投，本季戰績4勝2敗。

銳能拿下勝投，打擊群幫了很大的忙，林泓育4局上轟出2分彈，目前7轟、打點28分，都與鄧志偉並列第一，打擊率3成33則是獨居第一，林泓育說「鄧志偉是名很有實力的選手，與他之間是良性競爭，從長遠來說是件好事」。

今年林泓育專職指定打擊，他說「很不好打，開季的時候不習慣，現在已經好一點了，但在比賽的節奏上依舊不習慣」。

蔡建偉6局上代打敲出安打建功，送回逆轉的2分，中斷最近連續15打數沒安打，他說「代打，一定有壓力，就是希望能打出有價值的安打，鄭凱文的球不好打，那一球他應該是變化球，應該是失投了」。
