今年首例本土霍亂！　53歲卡車司機染病

疾病管制署於5月24日接獲1例霍亂病例通報，經檢驗確認感染產毒性霍亂弧菌（血清型O1 Ogawa），為我國今年首例本土霍亂病例。個案為53歲男性，居住於南部，職業為卡車司機，經常往來北部與南部縣市，三餐以外食為主，衛生機關正進行飲食相關調查，以瞭解可能的感染來源。
 
疫調發現，該病例同住家屬3人目前均無疑似症狀，衛生單位已採集家屬檢體送驗，並指導居家環境消毒。我國於2011年至2013年期間分別有2、5、7名本土確定病例，其中2011年1名86歲女性癌症患者死亡。台灣每年霍亂病例約5~7例。
 
疾管署呼籲，食物要充分煮熟才安全，並須注意食物的冷藏保存，烹調及製備過程也應避免生熟食交叉污染，飲用水應煮沸，或喝安全衛生包裝水，以有效預防霍亂病。（邱俊吉／台北報導）
