奧會榮譽主席張豐緒病逝 享年87歲

中華奧會榮譽主席張豐緒前天病逝台北榮民總醫院，享年87歲。

張豐緒出生屏東縣萬丹鄉政治世家，曾任省議員、屏東縣長、台北市長、內政部長、行政院政務委員及總統府國策顧問等要職，也曾擔任多年全國體育運動總會會長及中華奧會主席，現為中華奧會榮譽主席及亞奧會榮譽副主席。

張豐緒在體總會長及中華奧會主席任內爭取建設體育聯合辦公大樓，並完成左營國家訓練中心軟、硬體規劃建設，國家隊菁英才有集科研及技術的訓練處所，利用科學儀器及知識，積極協助運動訓練。

尤其是中華奧會主席任內，張豐緒全面拓展台灣的國際體育交流，1989年和中國奧會簽訂協議，確立我國運動團隊中文名稱為「中華台北」，積極促成中華青年體操隊破冰「登陸」參與競技，開啟兩岸體育交流模式，稱得上是台灣體育邁向國際化的最大功臣。
