75歲的「萬磁王」伊恩麥凱倫（Ian McKellen）在49歲「出櫃」，此後便成為同志標竿，致力捍衛同志運動，近來他扮起愛神邱比特，為一名男同性戀布萊特向伴侶求婚，幽默的話語讓對方又驚又喜說yes，「催婚」成功。

影片的靈感來自於布萊特的伴侶是《星艦迷航記》的忠實粉絲，而伊恩麥凱倫的好友正是曾飾演畢凱艦長、也是X教授的派屈克史都華(Patrick Stewart)，既然邀不到艦長助陣，便找他的麻吉幫忙；而伊恩麥凱倫先俏皮表示已經「死會」，接著就推薦布萊特是個好對象，機智的話語贏得許多網友的讚賞，也對他推動同志婚姻的熱情覺得感動。（郭妤／綜合報導）
