美國聯邦準備理事會（Fed）昨起召開為期2日的FOMC（聯邦公開市場委員會）例會，並會在台北時間周四凌晨2時公布會後聲明及經濟展望、利率預測，市場關注Fed是否改變措辭、仍將維持超低利率相當長時間（considerable Time）。
 
美股早盤觀望氣氛濃厚，3大指數全數小漲，道瓊工業指數上漲0.13%或21點、納斯達克指數上漲0.14%或6點、S&P 500指數上漲0.1%或2點。SONY受下修財測影響，ADR（美國存託憑證）股價早盤大跌近7%。

美國勞工部公布，8月CPI（消費者物價指數）意外較前月下滑0.2%，自2013年4月以來首度下滑，顯示美國通膨情況仍然不盡理想。（陳冠穎／綜合外電報導）
