（中央社香港17日綜合外電報導）香港警方今天黎明發動突襲，出動數十名警員，進入「占中」民主運動在旺角的抗議區，移除抗議群眾設置的障礙物。

戴著鎮暴頭盔的警員清晨抵達抗議現場，拆除抗議群眾架設的營帳和遮雨篷。

警方表示，他們並不是想要清場。警方包圍約30名抗議群眾，民眾並沒有反抗。(中央社)
