前總統李登輝出席馬關條約研習會閉幕致詞，會後接受媒體訪問時，針對馬英九總統陪台北市長候選人連勝文掃街引發擾民問題表示，黨主席陪黨內候選人掃街是應該的，但引起民怨，是因為政府無法取得人民的信任所造成。
